About me

Hi there! 👋 I’m a student at ⚓Vanderbilt University, double majoring in Human and Organizational Development (HOD) and Computer Science (CS), with a minor in Data Science (DS), and an honors student in the Bachelor of Science program 🎓.

I had a successful recruitment cycle where I received offers from both Meta and Google for a Software Engineer Intern role and a Technical Program Manager Intern role, respectively. I have decided to accept the offer from Meta as a Software Engineer. Since I am interested in iOS app development and backend engineering, that's what I plan to focus on!

I've always aspired to become a tech-savvy person who uses coding to make a positive impact on the world, and I feel like I’m getting closer to achieving that dream. I'm excited about my future, and I hope you’re equally excited about what you’re going to achieve!

I chose Spotify💚 as the first product to review because it was the first app I decided to pay for the premium version. Even as a middle schooler, it was worth it because of its social media-like features within the music streaming industry. While I’m not certain which company first introduced the ‘following-friends-on-a-music-app’ feature, Spotify has undoubtedly done the best job of enabling users to utilize it. In this review, I’ll explore what makes Spotify stand out, its current market position, the user experience, and where I believe it’s headed next.

I chose Apple’s AirPods Pro as my second product to review because this is the one thing I take everywhere around the world with me. Initially, when AirPods first came out, I remember being hesitant to purchase them because of all the concerns about the possibility of them being easily snatched from my ears on the street. However, when the AirPods Pro were released with noise cancellation, I found myself very captivated. After some contemplation, including advice from my tech-savvy brother who reminded me to prioritize satisfaction over price, I decided to make the leap! The excitement of owning a superior product ultimately won out.
