- Overall, it was an incredible experience to delve into finance and fully immerse myself in the fintech world. I gained a lot of valuable insights about my role too!
- I was part of the Lending Services department, specifically the Non-purpose lending and Margin loans team. I led the launch of LoanAdvance (our product📌), which boosted customer adoption and increased revenue! On my first day, I automated email 📧 processes to Broker Dealers (from JP Morgan, CITI banks, and more) with a Python script🐍 , completing a task in an hour that was supposed to take four days.
- I conducted database testing to help release our new product using agile methodologies, researched and contacted our IBD (Individual Broker Dealers) clients, and cleaned up NPL accounts and pledged collateral to reduce the inflated credit line
- Besides work, I joined a robotics 🤖 team within BNY and am absolutely loving it! I’m also super excited for an upcoming case competition :)

- Our goal was to create an app called Vandy Stay, designed to help college students find summer housing☀️🏡 for their internships or research projects. My job as an UX researcher was to conduct user🧍🧍♀️🧍♂️interviews, usability testing, data analysis, and competitive analysis to ensure that the final product meets user needs and provides a positive user experience!
- I used Figma and learned a lot about user experience and design during this project!
- This experience is why I chose Product Management over any other field. I discovered my passion for working on products that make a real impact‼️. I love using and improving products, and I enjoy finding creative solutions to user problems

- Our client wanted to launch a DEI-focused product📌 to universities by hosting different programs, events, and talks. I took charge of the finance side and conducted comprehensive market analysis to identify opportunities for launching a DEI-focused product targeting universities. I designed and executed surveys to gauge student interest in DEI-related topics, ensuring the program’s relevance and appeal!
- On top of that, our team developed a detailed cost analysis for the entire program, optimizing budget allocation and maximizing ROI. Within our team effort, I identified and established key contacts within universities to effectively promote and sell the DEI program, fostering strategic partnerships. As the business analyst, I spearheaded the creation of programs, talks, and events to bring DEI🌏 initiatives closer to university communities, enhancing institutional engagement and impact :)
