Hi, I’m a student at ⚓Vanderbilt University with a major in Human and Organizational Development (HOD) and minors in Computer Science (CS) and Data Science (DS).

My academic journey began in Computer Science, but I soon realized that combining HOD with CS and DS would uniquely position me for a successful career in Product Management and Consulting!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Human and Organizational Development, HOD prepares students to address complex social problems in organizations and communities! Combining my problem-solving skills from Computer Science and data-mining skills from Data Science, my goal is to make a social impact by leveraging the knowledge and skills I acquire through my background in HOD, CS, and DS.

HOD equips me with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and strategies to tackle complex social challenges within businesses and communities. This, coupled with the analytical rigor of CS and the predictive insights of DS, makes me uniquely qualified to analyze and optimize business processes. In the world of product management and consulting, where making data-driven decisions and understanding human behaviors are crucial, my combined expertise in HOD, CS, and DS will allow me to deliver innovative solutions and make a significant social impact in these fields.

Activities / Hobbies

• My passion for music started when I first learned the 🎹 at the age of 4. Ever since then, I have enjoyed the process of patiently practicing to become better at other instruments too (🎻 🪈 🎸 …). My passion for the 🎻 began at the age of 10 after receiving my instrument on a random April 25th. I joined the middle school advanced strings for 3 years, the high school orchestra throughout the year, and the Hawaii Youth Symphony Orchestra 🎼 🎵 before COVID 💊 😷 . Joining a college non-major orchestra (VCO) has been a challenge for me, but I have definitely learned to appreciate classical music more than before, and I'm proud of that!

I had the most fun of my life during the summer after Senior year because, for once, I had no obligations weighing me down 😃 . It was during that time that I stumbled upon "Modern Family," and ever since then, it has become my all-time favorite series. I eagerly tuned in on Hulu, enjoying a whopping 211 episodes, and even went on to rewatch it three times! What captivated me most about the show is its format, where each episode presents different stories featuring three diverse families who are all interconnected. Through these episodes, "Modern Family" portrays the relatable everyday lives of these unique families.

The beauty of "Modern Family" lies in its ability to showcase the various forms of family dynamics. Whether it's a family with undivorced-straight parents raising three children, or a grandpa marrying an ethnically underrepresented but beautiful second wife with a child, or even a white gay couple raising a Southern Asian adoptee – the series celebrates the richness of diverse family structures.

Beyond the laughter-inducing humor and clever writing, the show has a deeper impact. It serves as a compelling teacher of diversity, as it presents viewers with these distinct families, each with their own set of challenges and triumphs. The characters' journeys resonate with me, reminding me of the value of embracing differences and celebrating the uniqueness in each of us.

"Modern Family" has genuinely earned its place as my go-to show for entertainment that is both sophisticated and immensely enjoyable. It's more than just a lighthearted comedy; it's a reminder of the beauty in diversity and a source of joy that I can always count on.

 

I got hooked on Detective Conan🕵🏻 when I was around 6 or 7 years old, catching it on TV. It became the only show I watched during breaks whenever I craved some mystery-solving excitement. The animation had me falling head over heels, and it ignited a love for the series that has stayed with me ever since. The urge to dive into the world of Conan's captivating adventures was so strong that I even tried my hand at writing my own Detective Conan episodes.

Detective Conan, with its young detective protagonist solving intricate cases, had me enthralled from the get-go. It's the kind of show that keeps me engaged, eagerly trying to unravel the mysteries alongside Conan. The clever plotlines and the satisfaction of piecing together the clues have had a lasting impact on me. Inspired by the series, I ventured into the realm of creativity, crafting my own Detective Conan episodes during my free time. These endeavors allow me to explore my imagination and delve into the art of mystery storytelling. Who knows, maybe one day my tales will be just as thrilling and captivating as the original Detective Conan episodes.
